Château Picoron is a 4.5-hectare boutique estate, proudly producing eight expressions of Merlot — each with its own delightful character. Eight palindromes, one terroir. Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux.
One grape, eight different expressions — from cloudy experimental wines to barrel-aged Castillon classics. Every wine name reads the same forwards and backwards. The constraint is the identity.
Fresh stone fruit, tropical melon, lime, flowers, and churned butter. Crisp, dry, and quietly complex.
Wild strawberry, pink grapefruit, florals. A dry palate finishing bright. Made for long summer afternoons.
Fresh kirsch, strawberries, sour cherry, crunchy apple. A bouncy, juicy red wine. Serve chilled.
Naturally sparkling, dry and fruity, with a hint of fresh flowers and summer fruits. Wild raspberries, along with a slightly tangy balance on the palate. Serve chilled.
Jasmine flowers, hint of fresh coconut. A pale grey Merlot with natural sediments, emblematic of the unexpected changes in life.
Early harvest, slowly cold fermented. Ripe plum, fresh wild cherry with dried herbs and grass, balanced with gentle acidity and velvety tannins.
Ripe blackcurrants, plum, and cherry, accented by tobacco and cedar. Medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
Age reveals notes of aniseed, Madagascan vanilla & cocoa. Powerful and still juicy — a concentrate of Castillon in a bottle.
